I know there are a lot of other 1 star reviews, but as a student myself, I can say that they are completely right. When I was younger, I used to thoroughly enjoy reading, having a large collection of books. However, once sparx reader was introduced to me and my school, I wont touch a book with a long stick. This app asks questions about what you've just read, and works on a point system. It asks you small details that are irrelevant to the actual story, making you unable to immerse yourself and actually enjoy the book. Get it wrong? You get less points for all the other questions. Which is where 30 minutes of reading can easily landslide into 5 hours. This app punishes students for getting things wrong rather than helping and encouraging them. It has genuinely not helped me, and I simply refuse to do it now.
