EXCELLENT EFFICIENT SERVICE AT REASONABLE COST

I decided this year to change my opticians and chose to visit Specsavers at Sydenham. Due to it's location parking was no problem at all.I was greeted on entering the premises, by friendly staff, asked my name and reason for visit. I was then shown to a waiting area. Within ten minutes I was greeted by an optician who asked me to follow her to an examination room. I then underwent an eye test & OCT Scan. The optician was very thorough and asked many questions. She was also attentive to my replies. I was asked if I required my glasses for driving, would I like separate glasses for reading and distance vision. Whether or not I wanted the lenses to transition in bright light/sunshine. I opted for lightweight bifocal transition lenses.Upon completion of the examination she then escorted me back to the waiting area and handed me over to another member of the staff and asked them to take me to view and choose my frames.Having chosen my frames we went to a desk and sat down. We reviewed my optical prescription to ensure I was content with my lens details, checked measurements for the insertion of my bifocals. We then discussed the costs. I was extremely pleased when I was told the total cost would be around seventy pounds cheaper than charged by my previous opticians. I paid and left the as a very happy customer.Exactly seven days later I received a text message to say that my new glasses were ready for collection.On returning to the store I went to the sales desk and gave my name and said I had come to collect my glasses. A member of staff was called to the desk handed my glasses and escorted me to a desk. We checked the fit of my glasses and that I was happy with the bifocal lenses. I was asked to read from a card and had no trouble in reading the very lowest line. I left Specsavers a very happy man and have every intention of returning again next year.
