The optician appointment was good, but the young man who handed me my glasses at collection gave me glasses with one of the arms bent! Very expensive order, so my glasses should have been checked and in pristine condition for collection. In addition, I had asked for a screening hearing test after my optician's appointment. The same young man conducted the test in the busy shop, as he couldn't find a private room. I couldn't hear the test and asked to take it again in a quieter room as I imagine that is where it is supposed to be conducted. The assistant seemed in a rush and not well briefed on conducting the test or interpreting the results. I feel he should be given more support and guidance to provide a better level of customer service.
