I ordered computer glasses in July 2025 becuse I work from home and went back within a few days to say the glasses were too strong and I wanted a re test, which they did and then I was told they are new glasses leave it for a few weeks, your eyes need time to adjust.I rang in on Tuesday 7th October in the afternoon complainting that the computer glasses are hurting my eyes and have been very painful since July 2025.I was booked an appointment for the following day and saw a lovely optician lady, she admitting that the glasses were too strong and that the optician previously ordered reading glasses and not computer glasses like I asked and paid for (I paid a lot of money for computer glasses) and she ordered me a new pair of computer glasses which I picked up yesterday. Too my horror, an female assistant told me that Specsavers gave me reading glasses in July 2025 and not computer glasses. All this time I was wearing reading extremely strongglasses for computer work. I asked to speak to the female manager and explainted that the male assistant needs to be properly trained before he is allowed to deal with the general public.Her response was are they ok now? So you can go.STAY AWAY FROM SPECSAVERS DALSTON!!
