We recently visited a branch for the advertised free trial of contact lenses for my 14-year-old daughter, who was curious about trying them. However, we were charged £30 for consultations, which was a surprise since there was no clear communication about this fee beforehand.This was particularly unexpected as she had a recent eye test conducted externally, and her prescription glasses were obtained through your branch. The charge was only mentioned after the consultation, leaving us with no option but to pay, which felt quite misleading.We would appreciate clarification on why this charge was applied and why it wasn’t communicated clearly from the outset.
