After years of poor hearing with NHS hearing aids, my family talked me into trying purchased hearing aids. I reviewed all the high street providers, and settled for Specsavers, mainly because of money back guarantee if not happy with my purchase. I booked with the Enfield Town branch, where I met Robin, the audiologist. He inspired confidence in him from the outset, and put my mind at rest regarding a refund if the aids did not work for me. I started with their own Advance Elite aids, which were very good for normal hearing, but struggled in noisy environments. Robin suggested I try the latest phonak 90's, from the start I found the hearing Harsh, and after adjustments etc, did not get on with them. I am now waiting to hear from Robin that a new Resound hearing is available, which I hope will work for me. The customer service, help and guidance I have received from Robin has been first class, I am just so glad I chose this branch of specsavers and got to meet what appears to me, an excellent audiologist.
