We have used SpeechGen with satisfaction in the past and successfully produced multiple audio clips in 2024–2025 using a fixed voice and identical settings.Since the beginning of 2026, the quality of this same voice has noticeably changed. Despite using exactly the same voice specifications, the generated audio sounds clearly different and of lower quality than before.We have contacted SpeechGen multiple times by email regarding this issue, including concrete examples and audio comparisons, but to date we have received no response at all. Earlier emails regarding account and quality-related questions have also remained unanswered.We find the complete lack of support disappointing, especially considering this is a paid service that we use for business purposes.
