In my experience there are two components to an app. First is the quality of the app itself and second is the quality of support from the app developer. I have tried several TTS apps and have been disillusioned by the complexity and in many cases the pricing. Speechgen is an extremely easy to use app and its pay as you go feature is an outstanding feature. More recently they experienced a technical glitch beyond their control. What has set them apart is their response to a situation and their recovery strategy. It is not very often that you get such a quick response and above all an elegant solution.
