On 17 January, my SpiceJet flight (Kolkata ✈️ Hyderabad) was preponed at the last minute.Because of this airline-initiated change, I reached the airport to find the baggage counter closed.Despite being within my permitted baggage limit, I was stopped at the boarding gate and forced to pay ₹5,250 or miss the flight.No announcement.No assistance.No option to move baggage to the aircraft hold.Boarding was still going on.
