I purchased an Alto LXI 800 from Spinny on 21 August 2025 for ₹3,36,447. At the time of purchase, Spinny clearly assured that the car condition was excellent (interior, exterior, engine, suspension) and even mentioned an assured buyback value of around ₹2,68,000.
Now the shocking part…
On 5 March 2026, when I booked a Hyundai Verna and tried to exchange the same Alto with Spinny, they offered only ₹1,78,000! 😡! Only 910 Km is driven and completed 5 months.
This is completely against the assurance given during the purchase.
To check the real market value, I scheduled an inspection with CARS24, and they offered ₹2,65,079 — almost ₹87,000 higher than Spinny’s quote!
So the question is:
Why does Spinny promise high buyback values while selling but give extremely low prices when customers want to sell?
This clearly feels like misleading customers. When buying, they give many assurances. But when it comes to honoring those promises, there is no support and no accountability.
🚨 My advice to everyone:
• Don’t blindly trust Spinny’s promises.
• Check multiple platforms before selling/buying car.
• Be careful before spending your hard-earned money.
Spinny sells 2nd and 3rd owner cars at higher prices, but when customers want to sell back, the value drops drastically.
