I had a great experience with Spirit of Japan. Their customer service is absolutely amazing and is very responsive and interactive. I ordered a Japanese Maple bonsai because I have always wanted one. It took a while to arrive, which is expected due to the amount of care placed in preparation and shipment of a live plant. After it had arrived everything that was explained in the what to expect info that was sent to me was accurate. There was travel stress and some of the leaves did fall off. However, they all grew back within a couple weeks and the tree is very healthy. I am beyond happy with my purchase!
