Neither of my two plants survived the trip across the ocean I guess. The help guide that comes with the plant says give them time, they will recover. Mine did not.

2 Bonsais received per my order, the Gingko was without any foliage. Contacted SJ and great insight on the plants in a semi-dormant state. Replanted them and awaiting hopefully recovery and looking forward to watching them grow. Ordered a bonsai bowl for one bonsai and it is very small but used it for
other seedlings I had to see if they grow. Ordered 4 cushions with Japanese designs and although made in China, they look nice and fit well. Will share bonsai photos with the company as the trees grow. Very good, helpful communication with the customer service. Domo-arigato.

Ordered 2 items for my son's 21st birthday!Grow your own Juniper bonsaiTook weeks to arrive and was literally a bag of seeds.. no instruction's no nice packaging! Absolutely pathetic in my eyes!Japanese anime style model with led lightAbsolutely tiny comes in what looks like a book, no led light in sight although paid extra! Absolutely not worth the money!Lesson learned read reviews before purchasing!

I waited in anticipation for the arrival of my Sakura Cherry Blossom Kokedama Bonsai from Spirit of Japan and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed So the start of a new hobby has begun Everyday is a new day to watch my kokedama sprout new shoots and extra growth and mature slowly ✨️ I have been so pleased with the whole experience that I ordered a second bonsai a Wisteria which arrived 2 weeks ago and is flourishing big time To take advantage of the Summer weather in Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 I have now ordered a third kokedama bonsai from Spirit of Japan a Gingko Tree with a long history back to the Jurassic Era Honestly I can't wait for it's arrival I am genuinely excited I highly recommend placing an order with Spirit of Japan and sharing the love of kokedama bonsai with me

I am very pleased with my bonsai tree. It had all of its leaves intact and is beautiful. The first tree that was shipped to me was lost somehow. Yuki had a replacement shipped out and it arrived quickly.

Ordered January 7th

Ordered January 7th, recieved Febuary 2nd. It was covered in mold when i opened the package. Like a grey me mold. So i am kind of worried the plant wont grow well. If it doesnt grow it will be a while before i find out. So i doubt they will help me. I constantly checked on the order they did reassure it would be delivered. It is a legit site. And they have great comunication. How ever i am truly worried now that this plant wont make it. I took photos upon opening of all the mold.

Excellent customer service !!

First off, communication with SOJ has been excellent from day one, answering and helping with any questions I have. Plants arrived 16days after order. I consider that to be excellent in a busy time of the year. Our Momiji & Gingko arrived in fantastic condition, with the mossball still holding a good amoumt of moisture. So excited for my Bonsai journey ahead and most definitely reccomend Spirit of Japan

Great customer service and great product

I ordered two Kokedama bonsai trees from Spirit of Japan after receiving one as a Christmas gift from my wife. She encountered a problem with the shipping /delivery. She contacted them and they worked to sort it out. I got my gift a few days after Christmas but it was worth the wait. These trees are very unique. I have a bonsai collection on my garden but hadn’t ever seen Kokedama before. I too encountered a mix up in the delivery process and emailed them immediately. Tracking numbers were mixed up in the carrier’s system and showed my trees out for delivery in Bronx New York. Within one hour they sorted out the problem and I received my trees. They are bare leaf due to the season but have buds on them signaling they will leaf out once spring comes. It is essential that they be kept damp until growing season. I’m really looking forward to seeing them in full bloom.

I received my bonsai from spirit of Japan within 2weeks it arrived in great condition only lost 2 leaves on the trip but in a few days it was sprouting more growth I love it and all information is given on how to look after its health they are also very good on replying to your messages unlike other places who never reply definitely recommended
