The fact remains that I paid for 7 days and asked Spokeo to cancel my 'membership'. Not paying close attention to my credit card charges, I discovered I've been charged $29.95 for months. I didn't use Spokeo and everything I needed I found online with basic searches. Now I have to follow-up with my CC hoping it gets resolved. This has happened to me twice before in many years. I need to avoid all membership subscriptions and don't give out my CC number so easily. I should know better. Add up 10s of thousands of overcharges on a monthly and it's a big chunk of change. Maybe Spokeo will do the right thing and not charge me. If that's the case, I will return and change this poor review in their favor.
