The fundraising 'SPOT THE BALL' competition has been a complete nightmare and the customer service and contact are absolutely shocking. We have had people buying entries, unable to pick a spot but money coming out of their account. After hours of dealing with an AI bot I was asked for email addresses. Easy enough for the people you know directly but for others who haven't told you they've entered, hard to do and you'd never see their money again! Was told money would come back to their account but then minutes after I was told this, funds appeared in our fundraising pot. Have told the company there is clearly a software issue as it keeps happening but the advisor refuses to escalate or recognise this. It's hard enough for teams to raise money let alone when there are issues!

When people get together, wonderful things happen. The time we spend playing sport or sharing common interests is priceless. Away from the worries of work, school or the million other things that play on our minds, it leaves us fitter, happier, healthier.
We believe these precious social activities ought to be easier – much easier – to make happen. But, too often, it falls on one person to organize it. We all want it to happen, but we all want someone else to do it.
So one volunteer gets stuck managing diaries, scheduling events, checking attendees, organizing transport and managing money. It’s a huge burden that can easily take hours a week if it’s a group with regular events. And they probably don’t get much in return – no money – not even a thank you.
Volunteers are often overworked and underappreciated.
We’re here to change that.
Spond is a free platform designed to deliver all the best bits of participating and nothing else. We streamline and simplify everything in one app so that volunteering doesn’t mean signing your life away. It saves organizers hours every week, ensures attendances, manages communications and collects money.
We do it because we want people to get together more often – and to make organizers glad they said yes.
More events, more games, more fun. More togetherness.See more
