The fundraising 'SPOT THE BALL' competition has been a complete nightmare and the customer service and contact are absolutely shocking. We have had people buying entries, unable to pick a spot but money coming out of their account. After hours of dealing with an AI bot I was asked for email addresses. Easy enough for the people you know directly but for others who haven't told you they've entered, hard to do and you'd never see their money again! Was told money would come back to their account but then minutes after I was told this, funds appeared in our fundraising pot. Have told the company there is clearly a software issue as it keeps happening but the advisor refuses to escalate or recognise this. It's hard enough for teams to raise money let alone when there are issues!

The fundraising 'SPOT THE BALL' competition has been an absolute disaster, and the customer support is appalling. Participants have been buying entries but can't select a spot, yet their money is still deducted. After spending hours with an AI bot, I was asked for email addresses. This is manageable for known participants, but for others who haven't communicated their entry, it's nearly impossible, and their funds may be lost forever! I was told the money would be refunded, but shortly after, the funds appeared in our fundraising account. I've informed the company about the recurring software issue, but the advisor refuses to escalate or acknowledge it. It's already challenging for teams to raise funds, and these problems only make it worse!

WhatsApp remains the go-to option

Most people still rely on WhatsApp anyway, making this platform seem almost pointless, despite its decent design. It appears to complicate the issue.

Inconsistent and confusing

Setting this up is quite confusing and unreliable. The support is indifferent, and resolving any issues takes an excessively long time.

The best team management tool we've used

This is by far the best team management tool we’ve used. With over 60 teams in our club, it helps us collect fees, communicate with players, referees, and managers, and organize games and events. Using the app has saved us countless hours of administrative work each week.

Funds being held without response

*UPDATE* - Issue resolved after speaking to a real person who was very helpful. Initially, funds were being held with no response from the company, and I waited six hours to speak to someone. The bot’s suggestions were completely unhelpful. It may work well when functioning, but when it doesn’t, it feels like a black hole.

More of a solution searching for a problem

This service seems to be a solution searching for a problem. It's designed more for administrators than for users. My inbox is flooded with multiple emails, while a well-designed attendance page on a single club website would be simpler and more efficient. A webpage could also convey additional information like rehearsal music, uniform requirements, venue maps, and participant lists, eliminating the need for a separate app.

Close to perfection for our academy

We’ve been using this platform to manage our football academy, and it’s been transformative. Excellent communication tool for sports academies

This has been an outstanding tool for aligning communication across our academy. All player and parent communications across various age groups are managed on one platform, which has been very well-received by all involved due to its ease of use and information accessibility.
