This “service” run by pure liars, fraudsters, and the derelicts of society. Spring Health and Highmark/BCBS embody every stereotype about American healthcare. My coverage with Highmark (and Spring) ended on New Year’s Eve 2024 so imagine my surprise when I got a letter in the mail from Spring Health stating I owe them for a virtual appointment on 1/31/25. I had to go through so many hoops, constant transfers, and calls with agents calling me “aggressive”.You don’t attempt to steal from someone and then call them “aggressive” for not having the reaction you wanted. They claimed it was a “bug” in their automated system and it wouldn’t happen again. Well, it happened again and I received the same letter stating I had a virtual appointment on 2/28/25. In addition to this fake appointments, the doctor in question doesn’t even exist! An agent with Spring Health told me directly that there’s no record of the appointments or the doctor in their system. How does this get past so many people multiple times? It sure is a convenient “bug” to have someone pay you for a doctor who isn’t in your system or coverage network.
