Three years in, legitimate defects emerge: doors that won't self-close (day 1 issue), frost choking the freezer drawer (defrost fails repeatedly), and a dripping water dispenser breeding mold. Normal wear? Manufacturing flaws? Doesn't matter – Allstate DENIED my claim faster than their agent could spam "I apologize."Their "reason"? I dared say issues "started from day 1" but clarified frost/drip took time to notice. Agent latched onto wording like a pitbull, calling it "pre-existing damage" under a policy requiring "fully functional on day 1." Newsflash: Frost doesn't magically appear in the store! It's a sealed system failure that builds. But common sense? Zero. They suggested returning to Costco after 3 YEARS – hilarious if it weren't infuriating.This "protection plan" is a profit-grab scam: Collect premiums, then hide behind fine-print loopholes to avoid payouts.
