They opted for replacement instead of repair of my Frigidaire nugget ice maker. There were 3 offerings one was a small commercial unit but didn't make the nugget ice (too bad was the best reviewed option) the other 2 did make nugget ice but had very mixed reviews and a much smaller ice capacity. On the positive side I do have a functioning ice maker and the replacement process was easy and quick with delivery completed in about 2 weeks from the initial claim; my only disappointment was I could not add an extended warranty to it. How well this ice maker compares with the original only time will tell. I will continue to put an extended warranty on select future purchases as I have in the past.
