We will never buy a plan again. Even though we had 3 witnesses to the tv screen doing what it did as it was powered up, Sony denied the claim. They concluded by 1 grainy picture they had me send, that it was caused by damage we did. Their site does not allow for good quality pictures to be downloaded and the fact they based this decision off 1 picture is insulting. There are no marks on the screen where something hit it. The damage is internally where pixels malfunctioned or something. They refused to take tv and look at it. Their resolve was to offer us to buy a new tv at more of a cost than the one we have. I will never buy Sony again. I have reached out to Costco corporate also with our experience, would be nice if someone has to answer to someone with them too.
