I was told by one of their agents that a dispute had been resolved in my favor. They even gave me a case number and said a manager would follow up. No one ever contacted me.
When I reached out again days later, another agent said they had no idea why I was told that — and that the dispute was actually decided in the customer’s favor. This is despite the fact that I provided official documentation from the customer’s bank confirming the dispute was resolved in my favor.
Square still took the money.
This is not just poor service — it’s misinformation and a complete lack of accountability. You can’t trust what their support team tells you, and there’s no follow-through when it actually matters.
