We had a lovely week in the city with our family of five. The contactless payment for transport was seamless, a feature that many European cities could emulate. Unfortunately, this was overshadowed by a terrible experience with the service. After multiple changes on the subway, we reached the station to board the train. Arriving just two minutes early, we hurried through the gates and made our way to the designated coaches. Upon arrival at the airport, we tried to exit using our credit card and boarding pass, but it failed. We saw many others in the same predicament. It was completely unacceptable. Charging £69 per person is outrageous and certainly dampens the end of a holiday. There were no signs or announcements at the station, making it feel like a trap set to exploit passengers.
