I used the official Stansted Meet & Greet service in November, and my experience was awful! When I got into my car after being away, the rear-view mirror, driver’s seat, and steering wheel had all been adjusted. I get that staff may need to make changes for safety when moving the vehicle, but these should have been restored or at least I should have been warned.The worst part? When I got home and opened the glove box to retrieve my house keys, I found it partially detached and hanging from its hinges. Why the hell was anyone messing with the glove box anyway?? There’s no excuse for that at all. I really wish I had taken note of my mileage when I dropped it off, because now I feel they could well have been doing all sorts with my car. I’f they’re messing around in the glove box (clearly with force) then what else?!I want to stress this was with the official meet and greet parking right outside the terminal with the reception etc. I contacted them about the damage, and their response was simply: “Sorry, nothing we can do about it!”If I had been warned that my car could be damaged, I would never have used this service. Avoid at all costs!!
