Review for the swift meet and greet service at Stansted.

This review specifically addresses the swift meet and greet service at Stansted, not the official one. I was instructed to call 30 minutes before my arrival, which I did, yet I still had to wait an additional 25 minutes for someone to meet me, especially frustrating since it was 4 AM and very cold. After paying £10 for the car park ticket, my vehicle was taken and I proceeded to my holiday. Upon my return, I was told to call after collecting my baggage, and that my car would be brought back in 30 minutes. However, when I called, they informed me to wait an hour and suggested I grab a coffee. I found this unacceptable and insisted on having my car returned promptly. After several phone calls, they finally arrived 35 minutes later. I was instructed to follow one man to the main road, where another man met us. Shortly after, a small Kia pulled up with a different driver, and I was told to get in so they could take me to my car. They struggled with my luggage but managed to fit it in, and then drove me for about 10 minutes down dark roads to a compound where my car was parked. This experience felt unprofessional and quite unsettling for a woman alone. They did apologize and mentioned being busy, but this is not how a business should operate. While the staff were polite, they clearly need to improve their booking management.

To be clear this review is for swift…

To be clear this review is for swift meet and greet Stansted, not the official meet and greet.Was told to call 30 minutes before arrival which I did, still had to wait a further 25 minutes after arriving for someone to meet me, baring in mind it was 4am and freezing cold. They gave me the car park ticket and I paid the £10 for them to exit, they then took my car and I went off on my holiday. On return I was asked to call once I had collected my baggage and told my car would be returned to the same place after 30 minutes, when I called they told me I had to wait an hour and to go and get a coffee, I told them that was unacceptable and I wanted my car brought to me asap, after some back and forth phone calls they eventually came to meet me 35 minutes later, I was asked to follow this man (to the main road) where I was met by another man, 10 minutes later a small Kia car arrived with another man driving it and I was asked to get in and they would take me to my car, they struggled to get my case in the car but did, they drove me approx 10 minutes up dark roads to my car which was parked in a compound.To say this was unprofessional and quiet scary for a middle aged woman on her own, is an understatement, they did apologise and said they were very busy but this is not how they should be running a business. They were polite but need to take a look at how they manage their bookings.

Never again - damage to my vehicle

I used the official Stansted Meet & Greet service in November, and my experience was awful! When I got into my car after being away, the rear-view mirror, driver’s seat, and steering wheel had all been adjusted. I get that staff may need to make changes for safety when moving the vehicle, but these should have been restored or at least I should have been warned.The worst part? When I got home and opened the glove box to retrieve my house keys, I found it partially detached and hanging from its hinges. Why the hell was anyone messing with the glove box anyway?? There’s no excuse for that at all. I really wish I had taken note of my mileage when I dropped it off, because now I feel they could well have been doing all sorts with my car. I’f they’re messing around in the glove box (clearly with force) then what else?!I want to stress this was with the official meet and greet parking right outside the terminal with the reception etc. I contacted them about the damage, and their response was simply: “Sorry, nothing we can do about it!”If I had been warned that my car could be damaged, I would never have used this service. Avoid at all costs!!

Im surprised Stansted airport allow…

Im surprised Stansted airport allow these people to conduct this service at the airport. i have contacted the airport this company ruined my holiday. They have been dishonest and I have been charged a additional 325. They took over a hour to return car even though they said 30 minutes. avoid at all cost

Not worth paying extra for

Spent 40 min waiting to hand in keys as only 2 people working at the deskat 4am .Queue was at least 30 people almost missed flight. The return experience was even worse. Arrived back at 1.50am to collect our car only to be told it wouldn’t be available for at least another hour. Other customers were in the same situation including families with young children. As paying customers who specifically chose the meet and greet service for its supposed convenience and premium standard we received a service that was far below expectations. it would have been cheaper ,quicker and far less stressful to use the long stay car park instead. The manager did come out to apologise stating there were staff shortages but he also claimed M&G was not a premium service and that it was cheaper than other options, which is blatantly untrue.

Brand new car scratched…

My car was scratch whilst with them can not get any support or speak to any customer service.Email address do not work, link to find place to raise issues not working and phones switched off! I can confirm I was a customer had a reply that I should have reported it on collection . It was raining and dark so was not seen.

All above 1 star comments are absolute true. I experienced the same things. Sadly i didn’t read reviews. I had to pay £20 for dropping my vehicle 1 hour and 15 late. Transfer vehicles were smelly of cigarettes and instead of being dropped in airport drop of zone, they dropped us near hotel. If you are not paying cash, they charge you extra. Absolutely unprofessional. We paid for a couple days of parking. Non of other companies charge extra for dropping vehicle later than booked. I would understand that, if we bring our vehicle earlier The other companies charge extra, if we bring our car much earlier or if you pick up your car much later. Euros are unacceptable if I paid for whole period, than it’s up to me when I’m dropping the car as long as it’s not earlier. And why are you not saying in your email that if I’m gonna be late when dropping it will be extra charge. Also put in your information, that pick up and drop off is not in an airport territory, but 5 minutes of walking. Also let people know about transfer charges of £2.5 per person each way, before they booking made

I only give this review a single star as there is nothing less. On 04.10.25 I dropped my car off without issue. Upon my return on 08.10.25 I called from the pre-passport check area to confirm my return and order my car back to the Meet & Greet area where I left it. It took nearly an hour to get my car to me, leaving me standing in the chill on the pavement. I called three times and was told it was on its way before it finally arrived. I was handed the ticket to pay ten pounds exit fee and upon my return, found my car sitting in the road, engine running, drivers door fully open on the traffic side and the Meet&Greet driver nowhere to be seen. I called to complain and their staff presumably recognized the number and opted to let it ring out rather than speak with me. I left subsequent phone messages and emailed my complaint direct twice, to include to the manager (supposedly), Mr Khailm Broad, but they have apparently chosen to ignore it so no response at all. This is a very poor version of customer service and according to the Consumers Rights Act 2015, I and Trading Standards feel I have a claim to be heard and actioned as, according to this law, I am entitled to have this work done in reasonable time.WARNING: If booking with a general company like 'Compare Parking', make sure you specify NOT to use Stanstead Meet & Greet or Safe Meet & Greet as they will RIP YOU OFF

Please all be aware, before booking this is an open scam. We booked online fully paid for. 2 days into our holiday had a phone call to say that our booking had been cancelled and that on arrival that if we didn’t pay £100 we would not be able to collect the car. We got threatened on the phone and emails.he charges an airport levy fees and passenger fare £2.50 a person and does not use the airport facilities.also if you do not pay cash he will charge you extra for card payment (unlawful)all his vans are not insured to carry passengers or have public transport licence.and PHT from the ministry of transport OR local authority. His drivers are not crb checked or have private hire permit from the local authority and yet they carry children and vulnerable people. Our vehicle was damaged in 2 places and parked so close to the wall you couldn’t get in. They operate like the Wild West with racketeering and intimidation. Nothing these guys do is legit. Someone on reviews said he needs locking up and they are absolutely right. They hide behind different company names etc. we are taking legal action towards this individual.and someone else said the same on the reviews so if you want to join forces to pursue justice or need any witness statement please contact Chris on 07800805295These guys need stopping before anymore go through what we had to go through. More to add: this company are claiming they are not the company I booked with here is there message to us whilst we were on holiday in Venice:This company requested I remove the feedback claiming they were not the same company I booked with. Compare the telephone number he sent us on our booking and telephone number he is asking us to call is exactly the same.!!He’s describing the rogue people very well indeed because he’s speaking about himself just changing the names. nothing he’s doing is legit and every feedback is correct for him. using unlicensed and uninsured vehicles for public transport and charging people for airport levy and not using airport facilities and charging you if you don’t pay cash. Driver has also been smoking in my vehicle.I have attached photographic evidence of the damages and the condition of the vehicle upon return for your review.Additional Concerns:• The drivers refused to present their identification or valid driving licenses when requested.• The drivers fled the scene upon my questioning, and I have reported this incident to the police. A CAD reference number has been obtained for the report filed with Essex Police.• I also wish to highlight that this incident is part of a pattern of similar complaints, including scratched, damaged, and written-off vehicles, as evidenced by multiple negative reviews online.
