My experience with Starlink has been extremely frustrating from the start.
I was told their service would work in the rural area where I live, so I ordered the equipment. After receiving it, I confirmed that the service would not work at my location, and I requested cancellation immediately. The equipment box was never opened and the service was never activated.
Despite this, my cancellation request was ignored. Starlink appears to rely almost entirely on automated/AI customer service, and I was unable to reach a real person for assistance.
To make matters worse, I was charged for service I never used, and I was never provided with a return label or clear instructions for returning the unopened equipment.
This experience has been disappointing and unnecessarily difficult. Until Starlink improves its customer support and billing processes, I would caution others to research alternatives before signing up.
