I’ve used Star Plan for wardrobes for many years and was previously very satisfied with their products. However, the quality has significantly declined.
The MDF now used is very poor quality, especially considering the high prices being charged. The wardrobes are expensive, yet the materials feel very cheap. The MDF chips easily and bends almost immediately after installation, which is unacceptable for fitted furniture at this price point.
Seven years ago, the materials were far superior. As a loyal customer, this has been extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, due to the drop in quality, I will not be using Star Plan again for any future projects.
The reason for 2 stars is because of the fitters (which weren’t bad) otherwise 1 star (very cheap £1.00 materials but paying thousands in exchange)
