Player since 2013 here. Star Stable as a company has not shown to care much about their players. The game encourages buying horses which costs real money, and the weekly updates are always cosmetic and never adds gameplay or continues the many forgotten storylines. There are thousands of quests, don't get me wrong, but many of them end abruptly and leave more questions than answers. It's like the SSO team just gave up everything. The players in this game are absolutely horrible; they bully and harrass each other, talk about sex, drugs and alcohol in the global chat just to be edgy. They're all petty teenagers, and I can literally play the game normally like I have for the last 9 years, and some edgy 13 year old will call me various names. Not the greatest environment for children. I don't really play this game anymore, but I log on when a new story quest arrives (which is like once a year and the quest itself lasts for 30 minutes). All players express their love for the lore and quests, yet all they get are cosmetics like new saddles, bridles and horses. Sometimes we'll get a new race to mindlessly train your new, expensive, real-money-bought horses.
