I am leaving a 1-star review for SteelSeries customer service after a deeply frustrating experience with two consecutive orders for ear cushions.
The order was made on April 1, 2026.
On April 7, 2026, I contacted supportbecause my order placed as a guest a week earlier had zero updates or tracking. Over the following days:

Support repeatedly apologized and said they were “on top of it” and contacting the warehouse, but updates were slow (often 1–2 days apart).
They admitted an internal processing error on their side caused the delay past the estimated delivery date (April 8).
As a gesture, they refunded shipping costs. (a really nice surprise)
A few days passed, still no updates, then I realised without being told that one of the 2 items was out of stock, so I am asking if a swap with an available item (same price, same accessory but for a different model). I had a no as an answer, due to stock management.
On April 14, they finally informed me that one of the 2 items was out of stock with no restock date — something that should have been known much earlier.

On April 15–16:

I explicitly requested a full cancellation of the first order twice.
Today, support informed me they had only canceled the out-of-stock line, the remaining items would still ship, and modifications/cancellations were no longer possible because the order had advanced too far in processing.
They also refused to upgrade shipping on my new replacement order to express, even after acknowledging the previous mess.

As someone who has been working in retail/export/logistics for over a decade, I have never experienced such poor order management: lack of accurate stock information at checkout, long delays with minimal communication, inability to properly cancel or modify an order when clearly requested, and overall scripted, unhelpful responses.
This level of service turns a simple accessory purchase into a multi-week headache. SteelSeries hardware may be good, but their Website fulfillment and support are unreliable and frustrating.
