Recueved my stop drive notice for my Citroën due to airbag recall late june 2025. Had the recall completed 12th September 2025 and was told I would be refunded for the £1100 I had to spend on taxis to get to work and to collect my groceries at the weekend. We are now heading into March 2026 and I still have had no refund. I must have spent at least 20hrs calling the customer care team. They tell me to ring recall team, they tell me to ring customer care and back and forth I have gone for nearly 6 months now. I've sent in my invoices twice now. I've had 5 different case numbers. The amount of times call centre agents just hang up on me Ive lost count. Im writing a formal complaint this weekend because I'm at the end of my tether. They will have 28 days not to reply but to pay me or the next step is the ombudsman because they can't fob the ombudsman off like they have fobbed me off for the last 6 months. I was told the refund would be no more than 21 business days and I begged them to have the refund done back in time for Xmas which they assured me it would be. Its lies upon lies and lots of false promise. The company should be in court over this. I even said to the last agent who promised to escalate and fix this issue for me if I'd have know how hard it was to get my money back I'd have just continued to drive the car and I'd still have my £1100 pounds. I'd have rather took the chance the car could kill me at any given moment that's how sick I am of stellantis. I hope eventually everyone gets there money back and I hope stellantis are fined tens of millions of pounds for there poor practice.
