After a less than stellar buying experience back in December 2025, Two single items of “Nightknit” sleepwear showed up as available in February. I was a bit concerned that they might have been returned items or stock that slipped off the shelf, however given the paucity of stock in larger sizes these days, I went ahead and purchased 2 pairs to complete my set.
Pleased to say, they arrived promptly and were faultless. This went a long way to restoring my confidence in stepone’s customer service.
The product is excellent and does exactly what it says in the promotional material. Keeps me cooler at night and much better able to regulate my body temperature. No more night sweats. Looks stylish, and doubles well as occasional loungewear. It also seems durable and washes easily. I now have 4 pairs in all 4 (currently available) colours.
In my opinion, it is over packaged, which raises the cost unnecessarily. The product is packaged in a bamboo zip bag, which looks nice but is unlikely to be of any further practical use. That is contained within a sleek black and silver box. That in turn is enveloped by a matching black and silver card sleeve. That said, it presents as a great gift. Problem is (just like the underwear,) the larger sizes sell out quickly and the regular sizes don’t. This means repeat production cycles are few and far between. I want to order some for my son for his birthday but can’t as there is no availability. Seems like they strike a poor balance with real world demand and supply?
Anyway, a great product if you can get it. Worth a 5 star rating on that factor alone.
