AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!! Biggest scam for learner drivers!! If I could rate this a 0 I would. Not only did I get charged initially at the start of the insurance for them making a mistake on their end making me pay an admin fee of £40 to sort it, they also have a really hard customer service line to get ahold of. It took me an hour just to find out who my breakdown recovery is.
The biggest part of this scam company is once you’ve passed from a learner to a full license they send you a big bill saying you owe them the rest of the 12 month policy even though we paid more for this insurance so that I could have it as a rolling contract until I passed. When you go for the insurance there is no mention of any extra fees or having to pay the rest of the 12 month period until after you have paid for the insurance and it automatically cancels when you pass. I had a bill come through saying I owed £111. Luckily I had the insurance for quite a few months. However, you also may have a cancellation fee on top of that which they don’t tell you.
As well as this (in the schedule file they send you) all of the standard cancellation policy is void for learners insurance and that the updated policy is on there. We had other companies we could have got much cheaper but we went for them as we paid more that we were sold that it was easier for a rolling contract.
And yes I read the policy’s all through before going for this insurance but they don’t tell you that until after you’ve paid and started the insurance.
Absolute joke of a company. Whatever you do STAY AWAY. You’ll pay more in fees than you will actual insurance.
