Sterling Insurance have time wasting automated phone lines that play bad music for a very long time before anybody answers. When staff eventually do answer they sound absolutely uncaring and pretend they have no idea why customers are unhappy with such abysmal service. They then transfer you to the next department with more terrible music and so the pain continues until you wish you had never known of this awful business. What a shocking experience.
Both of the Sterling crew who assisted me at different times, could not have been more pleasant, patient or helpful. They were a pleasure to deal with, as I’m quite ancient and find technology a bit of a challenge. Their insurance premiums are also very reasonable. I’d highly recommend Sterling Insurance to anyone
Had to call twice on the same day with issues i had, i received excellent customer service both times, they explained & solved my issues straight away, they were polite & helpful.
** if I had asked the right questions the first time it would have prevented me having to call back a 2nd time, so the 2 phone calls in one day were my fault**

Overall, it was an adequate experience. I received a lot of paperwork, especially regarding the no claims discount, before the start date, which was challenging since the previous company wouldn't release information until the last policy expired.
