Car-less and grumpy, I had a list of car showrooms to visit, and began with Lexus. No appointment, I just wandered in.They treated me like their newest best friend, and helped me buy a car. No heavy sales pitch, no hard-sell. I cannot imagine that sales team are around with nothing to do apart from wait for walk-ins, but they graciously acted as though that was the case.No question too difficult, too time consuming or too silly. Car bought, available next day. Handed over with thorough briefing, follow up made, but not pushed. All professional, couldn’t fault any of it. No longer either car-less or grumpy, just happy
