I recently had my Toyota checked at the Worcester branch and was told — and reassured — that my headlamp issue was covered under warranty. I even spoke to the Toyota help desk afterwards, who confirmed the same thing.Now I’ve been told it’s not covered and that I have to pay for the repair. This is completely unfair and very disappointing. I relied on the information I was given by both the dealership and Toyota’s own help desk, and now I’m left out of pocket through no fault of my own.I expected better communication and consistency from Toyota, especially when customers are told one thing and then charged for something they were assured would be covered.
