I bought a second hand Yaris cross with only 10,000 miles back in October 2023. The sales manager was not professional at all, with mis- communications from the beginning to the end of the purchasing process. She fooled me selling the car only with one fob and two metal blades. She ensured me that the metal blade could be used as the spare key. I realised that this was totally untrue when I lost my car key. Of course Steven Eagell did not want to hear from me when I needed help. My local Toyota dealer said I had to change the ECU to have a new key, which would cost over £3K. I sorted out the issue contacting a professional locksmith. I ended up being a month without a car. Then I tried to seek the second (spare) fob from Steven Eagell as it is unconceivable that a dealer sells a car providing only one key. We arranged a date on September 4th 2024 with Aftab to receive the second key fob. I arrived on time as per the appointment. After waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes, I left as they kept making excuses not to meet me. I felt fooled again by these unprofessional people. I wonder how Toyota can trust these thieves to run a business. Please avoid them, I really regret buying a car from them!!
