I bought a car from your Crawley branch in February this year, next day I contacted you about noisy pitted rear brakes, not rusty but actually pitted over a 3rd of the surface. Was told it would go away, a month later it hadn’t, your service dept checked the brakes, again said it would go away, it didn’t! It went into another of your branches for an alignment and they noted on the free health report the heavily pitted rear discs.As any contact with you directly didn’t work i contacted Toyota HQ and I then got a phone call from Austen saying get back to you after my car came in for service & MOT the following week. Car went in, free health report mentioned pitted rear brakes & that they were 70% worn & included a picture of rear of the disc that showed it was pitted over entire surface. I called Austen & was told he wasn’t available and to email health report to Filipe who would forward onto Austen, this I did. 2 weeks later I’ve heard nothing despite sending emails chasing a call back.UPDATE #1, as requested I have emailed my complaint along with correspondence.UPDATE #2, car booked in for discs & pads with dealer contributing 50%UPDATE #3, took car for work to be done & the brake discs were not there! Was booked in over a week ago. Waiting for another date.UPDATE #4, no contact, had to chase. Now waiting for another call. UPDATE #5, finally pads & discs replaced with dealer contributing 50%. This was so much hassle and shouldn’t have been. Should have been addressed when first raised day after vehicle purchase.
