We recently reached our one-year mark in our Stonebond new build, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience from start to finish.
We viewed many major developers (Bellway, Taylor Wimpey, David Wilson, Cala, Barratt, Morris) but Stonebond build quality immediately stood out—superior craftsmanship, thoughtful layouts, and a specification that included what most developers charge extra for. Flooring, turf, and Bosch appliances were all included as standard, which was a huge plus.
Our timeline was seamless through reservation to handing off keys. We were renting previously and we made Stonebond aware of our termination date and they have worked accordinly to complete on our set date.
The entire process—from reservation to completion—was well organised and stress-free. The sales team were professional, supportive, and kept us updated throughout.
We booked a snagging survey for peace of mind, and only minor cosmetic issues were found. These were fixed within a week, and we’ve had no major issues since moving in. One year later, we still absolutely love our home and have zero regrets, with the sales team always keeping in touch to ensure we are happy in our home, amd we also received a pen written note from the COO on our first year completion.
Based on our experience, we would confidently recommend Stonebond to anyone considering a new build. Quality homes, transparent processes, and excellent and thoughtful customer care.

Naturally, when acquiring a new home, issues may arise, but every time we contacted the customer care team, our concerns were addressed swiftly and efficiently by the maintenance team or respective contractors. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! Absolutely appalling service. On the day of completion for our new home, the company shockingly announced they would no longer cover the stamp duty as initially promised, which was a major factor in our decision to purchase from them. We were left in a position where we had to scramble for £27k from family to avoid losing over £6k in fees. The company showed no concern for our situation and behaved unprofessionally. Save yourself the trouble and choose another seller.
