I am a frequent shopper at the North Andover Stop & Shop. I was accused of not paying twice in the last 3 months. I had the receipt in the bag the first time, but forgot to pick it up the second time. In both cases, the manager, Rolando Mendez, was arrogant, obnoxious, condescending, and the least bit apologetic. All he said was " you are set. The second time, the bagger called me from across the parking lot to tell me that I had walked away. How can this happen? Racial profiling. Rolando grabbed my camera and won't give it back. I was thoroughly humiliated. Are there legal actions I can take to prevent this from happening again?How can this happen, the checkout person accusing the shopper of not paying without absolute certainty?
