NEVER USE STOARGEMART IN OSHAWA! I obtained the “pod” storage 3 months ago after I had to move all my belongings into there and move in with a friend, I hadn’t been to the storage unit until a week before I could move all my stuff and when I finally went into my storage unit all my stuff had been destroyed, completely covered in mouse feces, urine and chewed apart, upon speaking with the management about said issue in the oshawa location, he then proceeded to tell me that all my stuff was still useable, even with the piles of mouse feces all over my belongings and everything being ripped apart, he told me to dust it off and I could still use it, this was my 1 year olds crib mattress and stroller, he then proceeded to try and tell me that I brought the mice in with me, why would I physically go out of my way to ruin my own belongings? That’s absurd! I’m so disgusted with how he spoke and even chuckled after I started crying because my children’s memory boxes were destroyed by the mice and said nothing I can do sorry for your loss, I’ll be in my office if you need to complain further, which I did record because when dealing with people of this nature I always record these things and document them. I can never get those memories back, so, please, please, please, if you have anything of value or if you want to store your life for a few months DO NOT use Storagemart in Oshawa, you can find cheaper better options, or you might as well just throw everything out because you’ll lose your entire life anyways. I was told these pods were excellent and that nothing could get in them, well he was wrong and lied to me. I can’t help but get angry and rage cry when I heard “Storagemart, home of the cleanest units” when I had to contact the head office.
