I followed and bid on a locker that was canceled 44 minutes before the auction close. In NY, a locker is not supposed to be reclaimed by the owner after it is listed for auction. Check the regulations on storage locker liens.
Why would I follow and bid if you're not going to follow State regulations?
The owners have multiple weeks/months to resolve their account. It is not a clean, fair or open process to cancel active auctions.
I'm not rating Storage Auctions on just this event. On a whole, the company has broken their own Terms and Conditions and should be shut down. They are deeply unethical, charge excessive fees and cheat their customers every chance they get. I gave them another chance after a 3 year respite, but no...they are still as bad as they were in 2023.
