Purchased a printer from a well known department store in 2019. The product carried a 2 year warranty. As the printer is for domestic use only it is not used on a daily basis.When switched on a couple of weeks ago it said paper jam so we checked it but found no paper. Rang the store who advised me to carry out a couple of checks, still not working so I rang Canon UK, advisor extremely unhelpful repeating parrot fashion that they were not responsible after first year. Refused to put me through to a supervisor. They obviously only employ staff whose first criteria is to be as unhelpful as possible.Went back to store who informed me that Canon were incorrect.Now I (a person of senior age who doesn't want to be running around the shops in the days of covid) am stuck with the product.ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. I thought the bigger companies gave better service but Canon UK have proved me wrong. Canon ticket ref 00067173
