Hello, I bought a glass kettle (Cecotec Hervidor de Agua Eléctrico ThermoSense 350 Clear) three months ago. It overheated twice by itself and the kettle was too hot to touch. I had to wait for it to cool down before using it again. The metal plate inside has started to oxidise. It is a serious fire risk. I have now returned it via Amazon. I also wish to add another bad experience with Cecotec, albeit a little late in the day. In 2020 I bought a cordless vacuum cleaner (Conga Thunderbrush 829 Immortal) which did not work very well. The suction power was lamentable. I wrote twice witin the first year, while still under guarantee, to complain and ask for refund. No reply. I phoned and nothing happened. The third time I contacted them by email, I was told it was out of guarantee and they wouldn’t do anything. They were also very rude on the phone about it. So I ended up chucking it in the rubbish container. That’s €100 euros gone down the drain. No more Cecotec for me, thank you very much.
