StorageQuest has been the absolute WORST storage experience I ever had. DO NOT trust them with your credit card! I have been a customer for 5 years. In the beginning, the service was good. However, there must have been a change in management or they started to try to get as much money from their customers in any way possible. In the last year the service has gotten really bad - the office is closed 3 out of 5 times during the day when they should be open, carts are very hard to come by, and the cleanliness of the place has gone down significantly. And finally, this broke the camel's back: I always had my account on auto-pay - for 5 years. A few months ago, somehow the auto-pay failed due to no fault of mine following a glitch on THEIR side. I immediately called and spent time on the phone with the main office to make sure all was back in order when the following month it didn't work again. However, this time they just went ahead and charged me a late fee. I called within days to ask why it didn't work, made sure I paid everything, and asked for the late fee to be refunded since I had been assured the month before that Autopay was set up and fixed. They said they needed to ask the 'district manager' and after weeks of no record of them actually reaching out to ask the 'district manager', they refused to give back the extra fee because - in their words - "I had already paid the fee". Well, I didn't. They had just taken it out of my credit card account without my authorization. I guess you agree in the original contract that they can do that if you are in fact late, but if there is an error in THEIR system, they'll just put in on you since they have your card. All this trouble isn't worth my time or my money, but it seems that someone over there is cashing in on their way out any way they possibly can. I moved out immediately and I am sad that my experience has gone from being happy to find them years ago, to the worst storage experience ever (and I had and have a few). Save yourself from a lot of headaches and do not trust them with your credit card information. There are much better, cleaner, and more customer and service-oriented competitors out there. They are on their way down fast, stay away!
