RUINED MY ERASMUSThe absolute worst experience I have ever had with a service. Spent 4 months living without hot water, black mold in my room that made me have to get medical help, no internet whatsoever in the room, broken appliances, leaks everywhere in the house (it was basically raining inside) and little to NO help from anyone. I had to stay in an airbnb for the last month because it was absolutely unlivable. Don't be fooled, the owners of the house are the CEOs of Student Room Flat, which means they have no interest in helping you, only in taking advantage of students. They ignored most of our complaints and requests and tried blaming us for most of them. I started negotiating ending the contract early because of the amount of unresloved issues in my room. They proceeded to deny these issues multiple times in spite of the photos and videos I continually sent. I spent over a month emailing the owner over and over trying to reach an agreement, only to receive very rude and dismissing responses everytime. I even had to resort to a lawyer to email her, who she proceeded to ignore. I lived in CAMILO CO-LIVING with almost 20 roommates, most of them had similar experiences to mine. The house is very old, full of mold everywhere, broken and leaking and with strong structural damage. They claim to have fixed it, I think it should be demolished. I can confidently say that Student Room Flat ruined my erasmus, a very big part of my time was worrying about dealing with them, living with the mold or trying to find a place to have a hot shower. Don't be fooled by the years old videos they post on instagram, where they delete or deactivate the comments. Absolute scam. They should be ashamed of themselves.
