You expect good service from Severn Trent but Anthony went above & beyond today.
Turned up on time, within seconds of his arrival he introduced himself & was straight to work. Anthony resolved my issue quickly explained everything & demonstrated operation of my previously seized water meter!

Really happy with the lads , Josh C & Lewis W, that attended my property today. I had a blockage in my garden and they both went above and beyond to ensure the blockage was cleared. They also gave good advice on what I need to do next regarding my private pipes. Such polite guys and upbeat even on an early Sunday morning . Josh C and Lewis W are a credit to Severn Trent . I have just had Severn Trent Water out to fix a drain blockage. The experience of their services from start to finish was amazing. Upon discovering the blockage on Thurs morning (26th), I had a call with Lydia @ Severn Trent who immediately put my mind at ease assuring me not to worry and they will do what they can to help, this is exactly what a customer needs to hear when they are worried about a situation. With what was supposed to be anything up to 72 hours for a response, I was booked in by 8pm with an engineer for attendance the next day (Fri 27th) – excellent service from the very start!! The engineer Paul called me 30 mins prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way and turned up at around 8.15am. He was the most pleasant and helpful engineer assuring me he will have the blockage sorted for me as quickly as possible (where possible). He was made aware I was working at home and would be in meetings most of the morning, he never bothered me unless he absolutely needed to, and just got on with what he was there to do. Paul was assisted by his colleague Chris (very quick attendance from when he was called by Paul) with a jet rod required to clear the blockage. The whole job, despite being very messy for them, was complete with the upmost professionalism and courtesy throughout. Upon completion of the job Paul talked me through what the issue had been and explained what they did to resolve the issue. They checked in with me before leaving to make sure I was happy with what had been done / understood the advice that was given on the job they had completed. Before leaving the premises, they made sure everything was flowing as it should in the drain, and made sure that the gardens they had entered to resolve the issue had been left in the same state they had arrived in. From what was initially a distressing situation for me turned into the most pleasant and hassle-free situation. I have already spoken very highly to neighbours of the work carried out today and will definitely not hesitate to reach out to Severn Trent again should I be presented with such issue in the future. Job number 14232357. Jas and Courtney came to my home this morning and thoroughly checked the shared drain with a camera. They could not find any blockages but made a few suggestions about what could be causing the smell from my kitchen sinks. They were both very polite, smart, professional and communicative - in fact a pleasure to have here. Severn Trent you should be very proud of such great staff members.

He was very patient and used high-pressure jetting to ensure the pipes were completely clear, which was much better than other companies I’ve used before. He even cleaned the area afterwards.
