I found out Subaru weaponizes their surveys. I bought a Subaru for $50k...$50k for a Subaru! Still I was happy, then I received their survey for the umpteenth time and filled it out. Gave highest scores to salesperson, and all other personnel such as finance and the technical tutoring provided. Then came "Would I recommend the dealership?" I answered mid scale thinking it was a neutral answer - I wouldn't not recommend but I wouldn't push them on people - why would I? Got a call from salesperson telling me how bad I screwed him and his manager over. I said I gave glowing reviews...he told me what I said about the people was nice but because I answered the one question "wrong" his and his manager's compensation was significantly affected. I asked what I could do to fix it and he emphatically said "nothing"! So, I wondered why he called. So, now, although it may be circular reasoning, I have bad feelings against Subaru of America, this dealership and this salesperson and now I will actively steer people to another nearby dealer. I think about this practically everytime I get in the car and have misgivings about my Subaru. After paying $50k for a Subaru...a Subaru!
