Bought a brand new cutback touring xt and had it for three weeks before having to trade it in. The seats were so stiff in the lower lumbar area due to a ridged piece of plastic with a sharp angle. Wrote the CEO of Subaru and they had a representative call me. Set up an appointment with the dealership to see if they could fix it somehow. The technician noted that he loosened it some however said this is a problem for some customers. I reviewed on the forums and it is a known issue for shorter people. Ended up taking a 3k loss due to appreciation. No one at Subaru cared. As long as they got their money, that is all they care about. Said they would only be able to help if I bought another Subaru.
