Whenever you sit on the mattress, it sinks in like clouds however, when you lay down to sleep, it is somewhere between firm and soft. It does not sink in fully, but it is soft enough to relieve your back after a tiring day. Unlike a standard spring mattress, these mattresses are efficient even while sitting on them to read or work.
