During my pick-up, the driver was swerving all over the road, distracted by his mobile phone, and even stopped to chat with another driver! The whole purpose of booking direct transfers was to reach the hotel faster and kick off the holiday. On the day of pick-up, I noticed the wrong time was provided; it seemed like it was set to UK time without considering the local time difference. While this was an honest mistake, when I reached out to the emergency line three hours prior to pick-up, they showed little concern, despite us paying £143 for this service! I later discovered that a local taxi would have only cost €30 each way. For my trip to Cape Verde, I recommend getting a local taxi; I won’t be using this service again.
