Utterly useless. We paid £400 to have Supagard applied to our new VW Golf, inside and out.... We've just come back from our first long trip in the car since purchasing it (just before lockdown!). Washed it upon returning and, despite using our faithful, excellent jetwash AND then using a wash/wax product with a bucket and sponge, it's still covered in little black spots / marks and bugs that won't shift for love nor money. I tried using the (ominously supplied) bug remover spray and this removes most of the marks after a long wait and massive manual effort - I did one corner of the car and gave up. There's no way it should be necessary. After realising that something was horribly wrong, I did the water test with it - literally, just pouring cold water on the car paintwork, using a jug!! I found that water "sticks" to the paintwork just like it does to our 18 year old, untreated Honda Civic, so I'm not even convinced the stuff's been applied / applied correctly. We had a couple of (latest shape) Minis prior to the Golf and they were coated with a competitor ceramic product from new. Right from the start, water always just ran off them in streaks - and washing was a 5 minute, easy affair for the 6 years we owned them. Supagard is NOTHING like this at all. This product is an utter con, save yourself a fortune and avoid, avoid, avoid!
