I simply requested permanent account closure. I did not request any withdrawal or additional service.
Despite this, they demanded excessive and intrusive documentation including full ID verification, source of wealth documents, bank statements, and even a selfie holding my ID.
Requesting such sensitive information just to close an account is completely unnecessary and unreasonable. The process feels deliberately complicated and invasive.
Very disappointing experience. I would advise others to be cautious.
